Now a legacy project of True North Aid, Northern Reads aims to provide new, Indigenous-authored books to communities across northern Canada. In 2023, with a partnership with Strong Nations Publishing in Nanaimo, BC, True North Aid delivered over 3500 books to 17 communities across Canada.
For the past several years, we were also proud to partner with GoodMinds.com, an Indigenous, family-owned book supplier based out of Brantford, Ontario.
This year we’ve received 35 requests from communities across the country from coast to coast – please consider contributing today and help promote Indigenous literacy in remote communities.
Support and celebrate Indigenous literacy with us!
