Created to help bridge the gap between those living in remote communities across the country, and the access to medical supplies and mobility devices, Northern Health Initiatives launched in 2017. Northern Health Initiatives has worked to provide mobility and medical devices to communities in northern Ontario, as well as specialists who are are able to prescribe these devices . Over $150,000 worth of medical supplies has been shipped to remote communities across northern Ontario. This program has now ROLLUP for the North.
