The RCMP Foundation has commissioned a one of a kind design for a special limited edition woven blanket, available only at the RCMP Foundation Store.

This woven blanket was designed by Mi’kmaq artist Loretta Gould.

All proceeds from the sale of the blanket will be donated to True North Aid and the northern and remote Indigenous communities we serve.

The Foundation raises money to support activities, programs and events that make communities better places for Canadians to live work and play. Since 1994, they have raised more than $10 million and funded more than 1,000 community initiatives in, among other things, youth programs, crime prevention, victim services and internet safety.

RCMP Executive Director Kevin Lawton and True North Aid Director of Operations Lisa Mazzocato unveil the limited edition blanket. Also pictured: Tony Vuong and Stephen Paquette.
The imagery depicts the Seven Grandfather Teachings, an Indigenous woman and an Indigenous RCMP member donning a ribbon skirt, celebrating women and reconciliation.
