Bethany is True North Aid’s Finance Coordinator, living in Waterloo, Ontario. Though she lives in the city now, she grew up in a small town nearby and goes back several times a week to be with family. She graduated in 2018 from the University of Guelph with a BA in International Development. While still studying, Bethany connected with True North Aid for the first time to organize a sea canister full of donations. After several years of volunteering, Bethany was thrilled to join the staff as part of the Finance Team. Often wearing many hats, Bethany works hard to elevate the financial, administrative and operational efficiencies of True North Aid. With a passion for seeing communities take the lead in their own development, Bethany is honoured to be a part of the team. When not at work, Bethany can likely be found chasing down her two adorable little redheads alongside her loving and supportive husband, Joe. Bethany is an avid reader and cannot wait to find out what she will learn from her home garden this year!
