With the support of donors nationwide, True North Aid donated essential items for the Turner Lake/Birch Narrows Community Food Centre. True North Aid supported the centre and community with packaged food, school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, bedding, and more, as well as a shipping container to store all of these supplies and the tools to build the centre. Once the build was complete, True North Aid provided five brand new appliances and assisted in the development of a community garden for the elders to teach their community how to prepare nutritious foods.
